How to Write Sermons, Bible Studies and Small Group Materials

The Holy Bible is the clearest evidence that God’s intention is to minister through those who are available and willing to write for His glory. “Then the LORD told me: ‘I will give you My message. Write it clearly enough to be read at a glance.’” (Habakkuk 2:2, CEV) This course is designed to introduce the student to the fundamentals of the art and craft of writing. You will learn how to develop and deliver life-giving communication so that God’s kingdom would come and His will would be done through preaching, teaching, and leading small groups. This course will be helpful for every disciple of Jesus Christ, (you don’t need to be a pastor, teacher, nor leader to benefit from this engaging class).

What you’ll get from this course:

Every course is taught at the college level in a 12-week quarter. You will get professional instruction that is deeply grounded in the truth of Scripture and the power of the Holy Spirit. The courses meet weekly for 2 hours of lecture, discussion, and interaction. We expect these courses to make a powerful impact as you study the word of God and see the transformation in your life.
